This exhibit features public history posts created by students in HIST 3441: Modern Canada in Fall 2025. The course invited learners to rethink modern Canadian history beyond the national story. It asked how Indigenous lands were made governable through broader imperial logics and how belonging and exclusion were fashioned between and across borders. Students became public historians and researched images, objects, figures, and everyday traces of the past to investigate central questions in Canadian history and communicate their learning with wider audiences.
